With the football season approaching its finale, FIFA 16 has released a new set of updates which sees several Premier League stars rewarded with new ratings.
Unsurprisingly, Jamie Vardy has been given a ratings boost after his incredible goal-scoring run, although many JOE readers expected a more significant increase on his original rating of 71.
The same could be said for Tottenham youngster Dele Alli. Having scored seven goals this season and established himself as a regular starter for Spurs, Alli is now rated at 72, having been 67 at the start of the season.
Another name to have exploded on to the Premier League scene has been Manchester United’s Anthony Martial. Despite his hefty transfer fee, the Frenchman was relatively unknown when he arrived at Old Trafford from Monaco late in the summer transfer window. His original rating was 77, but after impressing in a United team that’s not always been on top form, Martial has now been given 79.
Interestingly, Javier Hernandez, one of the strikers Martial replaced in Manchester, has also increased at Bayer Leverkusen. The Mexican is now rated at 82, having started the season as an 80.
Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin has also risen from a 74 to a 77, with the 20-year-old Spaniard holding down a regular starting berth in Arsene Wenger’s side.
But one of the most significant improvements comes courtesy of Chelsea youngster Kenedy. Although very highly rated at Stamford Bridge, the Brazilian has yet to establish himself as a regular – but has still climbed from 67 to 72.
