Tottenham Hotspur’s resident prankster Dele Alli has suggested that Conor McGregor squares up against none other than Harry Kane in his next fight.
He might currently be busy pursuing the golden boot and Spurs’ first league title since 1961, but Alli reckons his England teammate is pretty handy with his fists as well.
Kane showed off his boxing credentials in a video uploaded to his Twitter account.

This was quickly seized upon by Alli, who has a bit of history when it comes to touting his Spurs colleagues for fights. He’s already lined Eric Dier up with boxer Anthony Joshua, and now wants Kane v McGregor to top off the bill.
Harry to fight Mcgregor.. @ericdier to fight Joshua! Let's make this happen 😂👀🤕 https://t.co/IfyFXIjUi3

Hurrikane Harry of the UFC does have to ring to it, but Mauricio Pochettino will probably hope his free-scoring marksman holds off on the surprise career change until the end of the season.
