Ousmane Dembélé has been linked with a move to Manchester United by numerous media outlets, because he’s a winger and United need a winger. He’s also out of favour at Barcelona and has been for a long time. His time in Spain has been ravaged by injuries that have prevented him hitting his best form we all know he is capable of.
Twitter is no place for nuance though. No, Twitter is a place for sensationalist statements that attract engagement and thus virality. That’s just how it works. We don’t make the rules.
