Deontay Wilder is one of the top heavyweights in the world, there’s no doubting that.
And ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has enjoyed his fair share of impressive knockouts in his time, having stopped 37 of his 38 opponents.
Wilder spent last weekend in London, where he was on punditry duty for Sky Sports Box Office for Anthony Joshua’s stunning TKO victory over Wladimir Klitschko.
Wilder spent most of his time in Wembley going back and forth with fellow fighter and analyst for the evening, Tony Bellew, and it seemed like the pair verbally agreed to a fight before the broadcast came to an end.
Talk from Wilder’s promoter, Lou DiBella, was that the American was interested in meeting Bellew next and the reigning WBC heavyweight champion took to Twitter to issue a reminder of his power.Â

However it seems like Wilder has had a change of heart and is reaching for a bigger payday as he again posted a knockout victory of his to social media, this time with Joshua tagged.
Wilder showed off his stoppage of Gerald Washington in February in what was presumably supposed to come as something of a warning to ‘AJ’.
Awesome fight @klitschko but this is how you finish a fight…The WILDer Way. #WilderJoshua anyone? @anthonyfjoshua pic.twitter.com/fJkLqm9xvU

But Wilder’s attempts to strike fear in Joshua’s heart didn’t exactly turn out the way he would have hoped as his followers were far from kind in the replies to the above tweet.
While he got the job done, Wilder’s technique was brought into question by just a few cynical fight fans.
@BronzeBomber @Klitschko @anthonyfjoshua Throwing wild windmills like a girl outside of a nightclub who has just had her handbag snatched? ?
