¡Baile Jefe, baile!
Dance chief, dance.
It has become clear that on Sunday night Diego Maradona was on one. And that, my friends, is a glorious thing, whenever and wherever it occurs.
Not content with dishing out the greatest post-match interview of all time, Don Diego stepped it up a notch in the changing room following his second division Mexican side Dorados reaching the Apertura finals with a 2-1 win on aggregate against Juarez.
How, exactly?
By schooling one of his own players in an old school, 1v1 dance-off. That’s how.
Judging by the subtle grace with which he gets down low and shakes his moneymaker here, it’s not difficult to imagine what an in-his-prime, coke-fuelled, Diego Maradona would have done to the Naples club scene in the mid-to-late-80s.
He would have fucking burned the place down, that’s what.
If you were judging it like a boxing match it’d have to be a 1st round TKO for El Pibe de Oro, who gets down lower and has far better hand and body movement than his opponent. Quite simply, he just wants it a little bit more than his younger, far more inexperienced contender.

Kids, let this be a lesson to you. No matter what happens to you in life, you just never lose it. Baile Jefe, baile.
