Ahead of Non-League Day, rejoice at one of the most non-league moments you’re ever going to see.
With the international break currently taking place, Crystal Palace agreed to play Dulwich Hamlet in a fundraiser for the non-league club, according to the BBC.
The game was an eventful one for Dulwich’s goalkeeper Preston Edwards who was repeatedly made aware that his car was causing an obstruction at the ground.
Edwards claimed that he tried to ignore the first two announcements over the stadium’s PA system which called for the car’s owner to move it.
'Preston, move your car! Preston Preston, move your car!'

The ‘keeper was rather busy at the time so could only turn around to tell someone in the crowd “that’s my car!” in response to the third announcement, when Edwards was warned that the vehicle would be towed if it wasn’t moved.
Chants of “Preston move your car, Preston, Preston move your car” rang out before half-time, when the shot-stopper made a beeline for the car park.
Edwards has confirmed via Twitter that it wasn’t a wind-up and revealed that he’d shown up late to the ground so had no choice but to just leave his car and leg it to the dressing room.
I wasn’t a wind up. The first two times I ignored it. The third time they mentioned it getting towed. That’s when I panicked!

Dulwich ended up conceding plenty of goals in the 5-0 defeat to Palace but, to be fair, we can’t blame Edwards for being preoccupied between the sticks.
