Taking time out from his usual hectic schedule of seeking out never-been-thought-of-before sponsorship opportunities for Manchester United, this is a time when the club’s executive vice-chairman turns his attention to the slightly less important matter of player recruitment.
If he’s not reportedly haggling with Inter Milan over a deal for Ivan Perisic, he’s exchanging gifts with the president of Real Madrid before a money-spinning tour game in the United States.

Understandably, it is imperative that Ed looks his best for such an important time of year, which might explain why he appears to have taken drastic action against his receding hairline.
As pointed out on Twitter by hair transplant expert, @BeardedGenius, Ed’s hairline appears to have crept forward in the year since he posed for pictures with then newly-unveiled United boss, Jose Mourinho.

Although we’re in no position to confirm that Ed has had the procedure, we wouldn’t bet against United unveiling a new official hair transplant partner before the new season starts.
Ironically, this development has come to light just a couple of weeks after the club’s hair transplant-enhanced all-time leading goalscorer left Old Trafford, returning to Everton.
