The finals take place in June 2019
England have drawn the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals.
The other semi-final will be contested between Portugal and Switzerland.
England’s match against the Netherlands will take place at the Estadio do Dragão in Porto, Portugal, on June 6th. Portugal’s semi-final against Switzerland will take place on the 5th June.
The final will also take place in Porto’s stadium on 9th June.
England qualified for the UEFA Nations League finals by topping their group after beating Spain away from home and Croatia at Wembley. A late goal from Harry Kane ensured that England topped arguably the toughest group in the League A.
The Netherlands won their group in dramatic fashion too, as a late volleyed equaliser from Virgil van Dijk against already relegated Germany put the Dutch above world champions France.
The Nations League’s inaugural campaign has been a raging success, with an extra competitive edge added to previously dull international breaks.
Both England and the Netherlands will be desperate to win the tournament, with only one international trophy each to their names – the 1966 World Cup and 1988 Euros respectively.
