England play their first match of 2017 this evening, facing Germany in a friendly in Dortmund.
After some surprise call-ups to his squad, Gareth Southgate has handed starts to West Brom’s Jake Livermore and Burnley’s Michael Keane for the match with the world champions.
As expected, it appears that the England boss will play Keane as one of three defenders with Kyle Walker and Ryan Bertrand acting as wing backs.
There’s no starting place for the recalled Jermain Defoe, who has been named on the bench.
