Everton take the p*ss out of Chelsea with this classic John Stones/Beatles chant (Video)

Brilliant...

After losing 2-1 to Crystal Palace, Chelsea’s hunt for defensive re-enforcements will probably step up a gear over the weekend.

But Everton fans don’t want to hear a word about any possible sale of their promising player John Stones, despite the England man handing in a transfer request last week.

The U21 international has had several bids refused by his club from the Premier League champions, one rumoured to be over £30million.

And to honour the steely reserve shown by Bill Kenwright and his board not to fall for Chelsea’s filthy lucre, the Toffees’ supporters unveiled a wonderful chant ahead of their 0-0 draw with Tottenham.

It’s to the tune of the Beatles ‘Money Can’t Buy me Love’ and the lyrics go something like this:

“Martinez said he’s not for sale and I am satisfied.

“Chelsea want those diamond rings that money just can’t buy.

“I don’t care too much for money, money can’t buy you Stones.

“Can’t buy me Stoooooones, money can’t buy you Stones.

“Can’t buy me Stoooooones, money can’t buy you Stones.”

It definitely makers life easier when you have the lyrics but even Lennon./McCartney would be impressed with this re-working.

While it’s good, it’s no Seamus Coleman chant…
