Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been charged with misconduct by the FA in relation to his language and behaviour during Saturday’s game with West Ham.
The Blues slumped to yet another defeat as the Hammers beat them 2-1 in a controversial encounter. Both Nemanja Matic and Mourinho were given their marching orders in an ill-disciplined affair.
Referee Jon Moss sent the Portuguese to the stands after he confronted the officials at half-time with West Ham leading 1-0. In the second half, Mourinho took his place in the stands.
Both clubs have been charged for failing to control their players and have until October 29 to respond.
On top of everything, Chelsea face a £25,000 fine for receiving more than five bookings in the game.
