Marcus Rashford’s late winner against Hull City sparked wild celebrations among Manchester United fans.

But new footage has emerged of people in the crowd being momentarily crushed as supporters surged forward to celebrate with their United heroes after Rashford’s 92nd minute goal kept Jose Mourinho’s dream start rolling.

The jubilant scenes rapidly turned scary as a number of fans were crushed up against advertising boards at the KCOM Stadium after the last-gasp goal from the teenager.

It was a moment that led United midfielder Marouane Fellaini to step in and help a stricken female fan who was pinned up against the hoardings in the surge.

Another United fan broke his leg celebrating Rashford’s winner and had to be taken to hospital in a wheelchair.

But the terrifying moment was captured on camera by a supporter at the game and you can see fans in some trouble as fans pile forwards.

Fans were filmed spilling over the boards and onto the pitch and you can clearly see some were trapped by the swell from the stands.

Luckily Fellaini spotted the woman in the pink hoody and waded in to help her to her feet after alerting stewards in the ground.

It was fortunate that nobody was more seriously hurt in the incident.

Fellaini himself though appears to have picked up a back injury which could rule him out of the Manchester derby in two weeks time.

“I am going to lose Fellaini for a while,” said Jose Mourinho who praised the Belgian’s performance in the game as his impressive start to the season continued. “He has a muscle injury in his back and it is not good.”

Mourinho, who kept his perfect start to the season with United going with the 1-0 victory, was asked how long the midfielder could be out. He replied: “I don’t like to say that but it is bad.”
