Manchester City might be flying high in the Premier League and still chasing four trophies – but there’s one thing that’s still dogging them.
Empty seats…and rival fans – particularly Manchester United – are continually using it as a stick to beat them with.
Not a match goes by when fans are rolling out the ‘Emptihad’ gags on Twitter – and you know it’s bad when Sky Sports are even having a dig.
But it seems this reputation for not selling out has jumped up a notch.
Man City supporters had the honour of appearing in the fan seating on Soccer AM…and guess what?
Empty seats. Again. It didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed viewers who spotted even the eight seats in the studio weren’t fully filled.
Cue p*ss ripping online…

These City fans on Soccer AM? I'm sure I recognise some of them from when Chelsea fans were on a few years ago!
