Aaron Ramsdale: The ultimate wind-up merchant
Aaron Ramsdale continued his new found role as Arsenal’s chief wind up merchant as he annoyed Chelsea fans behind the goal during their win at Stamford Bridge.
The Gunners ran out as 4-2 winners in west London as Eddie Nketiah’s brace along with goals from Emile Smith-Rowe and Bukayo Saka recorded a vital win for Mikel Arteta’s men.
With Arsenal leading 3-2 at the time and having just won a penalty, Saka confidently dispatched from 12 yards to seal the three points for Arteta’s side.
As he watched his teammate kill the game off, Ramsdale turned round to face Chelsea fans, who were unsurprisingly left angered by the performance from Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Launching a wave of expletives at the 23-year-old, the Arsenal shot-stopper lapped up the abuse and gave as good as he got as he was filmed laughing and joking back at the fans behind the goal.

Ramsdale has developed a reputation for his wind-up acts throughout the course of the season. During the away fixture against Leicester City, Foxes fans were left rattled after he joined in with one of the chants aimed at him.
Leeds United fans were also left annoyed by the keeper’s wild celebrations during a 4-1 win at Elland Road and later joked that he collected £17 in coins thrown at him on the pitch by disgruntled Leeds fans.
