Just in case there was any doubt about who the joker in the Liverpool dressing room is…
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain doesn’t intend to let Dejan Lovren forget his team talk story in a hurry.
After Liverpool secured a place in the Champions League semi-final thanks to a 5-1 aggregate victory over Manchester City, Lovren revealed that he’d played a significant role in motivating his teammates at half-time of the second leg.
The Reds struggled throughout the opening 45 minutes at the Etihad on Tuesday night but Jurgen Klopp’s side came out looking like a different team after the break.

“To be honest I was shouting a bit at half-time,” Lovren said post-match.
“I told the lads to wake up because it was not good enough and I said we were sitting too deep.”
Lovren might think that he was responsible for stirring his teammates, and he may well have, but Oxlade-Chamberlain seemingly doesn’t see it quite that way.
Liverpool are currently in recovery mode ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth but Lovren couldn’t even rest his weary muscles in peace without Oxlade-Chamberlain hounding him.
After reading the defender’s comments, Oxlade-Chamberlain made it his business to troll the Croatian international.

“It’s the new manager, eh?” the former Arsenal man joked as he filmed an embarrassed Lovren.
“Half-time team talk made all the difference! Who do you think you are? Honestly, who do you think you are? Seriously?”
It’s clear that it was just a bit of fun between the teammates and they have every right to be in a terrific mood, having worked their way to the last four of the Champions League for the first time in a decade.
