He really doesn’t like Mikel Arteta
In true Arsenal fashion, back-to-back defeats have caused a good old fashioned Gunners meltdown. In the space of two games, they’ve gone from world beaters to prime candidates for relegation.
Now it might seem like the end of the world for them, but in reality, Mikel Arteta has actually done a half decent job this year at the Emirates Stadium.
For a side that were given no hopes of finishing in the top four, they remain three points behind north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur with eight games to go and are in with a serious chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
However, that clearly isn’t enough for some Arsenal fans.
One supporter is actually so frustrated that he’s taken time out of his busy day to compile a thread of every ‘sackable offence’ that Arteta has committed – presumably in a bid to get him sacked and bring in some bang average manager.
The user made his point clear that he has never been a fan of the Gunners boss and has actually been calling for his head since day one. You have to admire his dedication to the cause.
Now there are quite a lot of them so feel free to look through them all until your heart’s content, but we’re going to take a look at some of the best ‘sackable offences.’
The signing of Willian
At first, it seemed like bringing Willian into the club wasn’t the worst idea in the world. After all, it was a free transfer, but as soon as people caught wind of his £300,000 a week salary, it was a disaster from then on.
The Brazilian was nothing short of a flop during his brief stint in north London and despite Arteta’s promise to the winger to win the Champions League in three years, the 33-year-old is now back in his home country with Corinthians after just one season.

‘Changing the culture’
Before Arteta’s arrival, the culture at the club was as rotten as it can get, so there’s no denying that the Spaniard has implemented a fresh style in north London.
There seems to be a (slightly) more professional atmosphere at the club, but there’s still some bits which aren’t good enough for this fan.
In fact he seems most angered by Eddie Nketiah’s decision to cup his ears after scoring a late, late equaliser against Fulham. How dare he?!
This apparently seems to be Arteta’s fault. Remember, you’re not allowed to celebrate goals. Arteta should know better than to let his players express themselves. Sort it out, Mikel.

Losing to Crystal Palace
The most recent of these was the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace last week. That appears to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Arteta was schooled tactically by Gunners legend Patrick Vieira as the Eagles swept aside Arsenal at Selhurst Park and gave the Spaniard and his side a torrid time in south London.
It’s pretty harsh on Palace and Vieira to be honest, they’re actually quite a good team, but for the ‘mighty’ Arsenal, it was simply unacceptable.

On the whole it seems to be one big, albeit incredibly funny, overreaction. Realistically, not many people can do a better job than Arteta is currently doing now.
Of course he has his flaws, and Arsenal still have a long way to go to end their self-proclaimed ‘banter era’, but to call for the head of a man who has galvanised a pretty mediocre squad and given them genuine hope of finishing in the top four is just crazy.
