Arsenal midfielder aims ‘pathetic’ snide dig at Alexis Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez is no longer on the payroll at Arsenal Football Club. You might have heard.

You also might have heard how, towards the end of his stay at the club, when it was clear he was on the brink of a move to Manchester City United, some of his teammates couldn’t wait to see the back of him.

Murmurings of a divided Arsenal dressing room reached a peak when Sanchez was seen coaxing his teammates to join him in celebrating a goal in the victory over Crystal Palace in late December. Not everyone did join him.

The Egyptian midfielder tweeted a picture of himself celebrating with teammates during the victory over Chelsea. The text accompanying it read: ‘Now there are players fighting every minute for the logo and the fans’.

Arsenal fans were quick to respond…
