A wholesome moment
There was a wholesome moment between Brandon Williams and Christian Eriksen during Norwich City’s game against Brentford on Saturday.
The incident happened in the first-half at Carrow Road as Williams and Eriksen, who was starting a competitive fixture for the first time since suffering a cardiac arrest at the European Championships last summer, contested for the ball.
While neither were successful in winning the ball, Eriksen cheekily rugby tackled Williams to the floor. Angered by what had happened, the Manchester United loanee then turned over to confront him, grabbing his shirt.
But as the full-back turned round he realised it was in fact the Denmark international and his mood quickly changed from anger to remorse.
Instead of doing something he would regret, Williams instead embraced Eriksen with a hug before eventually getting up and running away, leaving the 29-year-old to stand smiling.

Eriksen joined the Bees in the January transfer window following the early termination of his contract at Serie A giants, Inter Milan.
The Danish international received a standing ovation from both Brentford and Newcastle United fans when he came off the bench to make his debut for the west London side last weekend.
Whilst the moment proved to be a wholesome one, Williams’ smile was soon wiped off his face as he and Norwich found themselves 3-1 down in a must-win fixture.
Brentford forward Ivan Toney scored a hat-trick, including two from the penalty spot, as the bottom of the table Canaries lost further ground to relegation rivals.
Teemu Pukki scored a late consolation goal but Brentford secured a convincing victory to move six points clear of the bottom three.
