We still believe…
The time has finally come. England play their opening group game of this summer’s World Cup tonight against Tunisia at the Volgograd Stadium tonight.
As the excitement has been brewing, there has been a lot of speculation over three slots in the team. With Gareth Southgate opting to play 3-5-2, Harry Maguire has got the nod over Gary Cahill in the left sided centre-back slot, while Ashley Young plays ahead of Danny Rose at left wing-back.
The complete starting XI is:
Pickford; Trippier; Walker, Stones, Maguire, Young; Henderson, Alli, Lingard; Sterling; Kane.
