He only lasted half an hour in the Champions League final
Mo Salah will travel to Spain with the Liverpool medical staff to receive treatment on his injured shoulder.
The Liverpool forward suffered a dislocated shoulder during Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid after locking arms with Sergio Ramos and tumbling to the ground.
He had to be substituted after just half an hour and was replaced by Adam Lallana. Liverpool were unable to sustain the force of Madrid without Salah and succumbed to a 3-1 loss.
Salah’s priority is now to get fit before the World Cup in Russia which begins on the 14th June. Egypt qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1990 thanks to Mo Salah, who is desperate to recover in time to make the final squad.
