Robert Rowan had been at the club for four years
Brentford FC have announced the death of the club’s Technical Director Robert Rowan, aged just 28.
Rowan died on Monday, November 12th. He had been at the club for four years.
Rowan joined Brentford in late 2014. He was appointed Head of Football Operations in summer 2015, and managed day-to-day operations at the club’s training ground, as well as overseeing the development of Brentford’s 17 to 21-year-old squad.

He was made Technical Director in February of this year.
In a statement, the club said they were “devastated” by his death, and “all our thoughts are with Robert’s wife, his family and all his friends – many of whom work at Brentford FC”.
