Michael Carrick was in the away end at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Carrick showed his support for his Manchester United teammates by joining the travelling fans in the stands for the 1-0 victory over Burnley. Anthony Martial scored the only goal of the game, to leave Jose Mourinho’s side 12 points behind Manchester City.
The travelling United supporters were in good voice, and Carrick even joined in with the singing.

The United midfielder’s only start of the season came in the 4-1 win over Burton Albion in a Carabao Cup game back in September. Carrick had been absent from the first-team because he was suffering from an “irregular heart rhythm”, which was detected after he felt “strange” during the match at Old Trafford.
He has since been given the all-clear, and is set to become a first-team coach at the club when he retires from playing at the end of the season. “The club would be very happy for him to do that. I would be very happy also for him to do that,” Mourinho said on Friday.
