Ronaldo was at the Juve training ground for just 40 minutes on Friday.

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly said goodbye to his Juventus teammates amid rumours of a shock move to Manchester City.

The Portuguese star was at the club’s training ground for just 40 minutes on Friday morning, saying goodbye to his teammates of three years before leaving.

Sky Sports reports that he arrived at the around 9.20am and then left before the team training session scheduled for later in the day.

In yet another story in one of the craziest transfer windows ever, that has already seen Messi leave Barcelona, a £100 million signing, and Mbappe potentially joining Real Madrid, Ronaldo is suddenly on the verge of a move to the Etihad.

The story of CR7 being linked with the Premier League champions broke less than 24 hours after the club’s main target Harry Kane confirmed he would be staying at Tottenham this season.

Ronaldo has made it abundantly clear that he wants to leave the Italian giants, telling the club that he doesn’t want to play for them anymore, making himself unavailable for their next Serie A fixture and reportedly clearing out his locker.

Negotiations are still ongoing between Manchester City and Juventus, with City unwilling to pay any fee for Ronaldo. Juve are reported to want around £25 million for the 36-year-old.

City also need Ronaldo to accept a cut to his current £500,000-a-week salary. The club have reportedly agreed a two-year deal with the player, rumoured to be worth £12 million a year.

With just five days left in the transfer window, time is running out for Ronaldo to get his return to the Premier League, and this one looks like it will keep rumbling on until the eleventh hour.
