“Yes Mo! What you doin’ round here, kid?”
Prepare, ladies and gentlemen, prepare for the most beautifully Scouse video since The La’s played ‘There She Goes’ on the Merseyside Docks for Granada in 1990.
Shared by Dejan Lovren, the video involves a man in a car who, on further inspection with the sound on is quite evidently not actually Dejan Lovren, driving past a man he believes to be Mo Salah.
He and his driver then loop back around for a closer look at the Egyptian King, and, well, they weren’t disappointed, coming face to face with a quite astonishing lookalike for the Liverpool forward, complete with appropriate beard, haircut and full home kit including ‘Salah 11’ on his back and football tape around his socks.
As lookalikes go it is absolutely spot on. Mo Salah’s incredible abs notwithstanding.
It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if it was the man himself hiding in plain sight, maybe with a small cushion tucked under his t-shirt, strolling back from a night at the astro where he scored 56 goals in a 40 minute 5-a-side game.
Anyway, give it a watch, it’s well worth it:

Which brings us back to my initial proposition. Is it, in fact, even more Scouse than this?
Take your time to compare and contrast the two films and send me your answers via first class post with the title “Is Dejan Lovren’s Mo Salah lookalike an even more Scouse piece of video footage than The La’s singing ‘There She Goes’ on the Liverpool Docks? (20 Marks)”.
I look forward to reading them all.
