Aluko scored 32 goals in 73 matches for Chelsea and boasts over 100 caps for the England Women’s team. However, she has not played for England since 2016 after she accused former coach Mark Sampson of bullying and racism. She was paid £80,000 in compensation by the FA.
Aluko becomes the second high profile women’s player to venture abroad after Toni Duggan left Manchester City to join Barcelona in 2017.
Juventus have posted a video message from Aluko upon the announcement of her arrival.
