He’ll be calling him a mercenary before long. Oh, wait…
Viewers of the BBC’s coverage of Manchester United’s FA Cup meeting with Yeovil on Friday night would’ve been forgiven for thinking that Martin Keown isn’t the biggest fan of Alexis Sanchez.
This is because… well, because it’s obvious. Really, *really* obvious.
Part of the BBC’s commentary team for the game from Huish Park, Keown spent much of the first half picking fault with the Chilean’s first performance in a United shirt. He even managed to revisit the fact that Sanchez had decided to move to Old Trafford instead of Manchester’s other club, where he had seemed certain to go for much of the last few months.

Keown was the subject of many tweets during this first 45 minutes of the game, all picking up on his apparent anti-Sanchez agenda. As you might expect, the majority of these came from United supporters. As you might *not* expect, one of them came from the official Twitter account of the Emirates FA Cup.
‘Martin Keown’s taking @Alexis_Sanchez’s move to @ManUtd well then,’ the tweet read, accompanied by a GIF to demonstrate the former Arsenal defender’s ‘saltiness’.
