The game was temporarily suspended
The game between Vitoria and Porto was temporarily suspended on Sunday night after a fan ran onto the pitch and tried to attack the players.
With just minutes left on the clock, the fan entered the pitch after the ball had gone out of play and approached two Vitoria players.
Footage shows the supporter kicking one of the Vitoria players twice before then turning his attention to the second player. However despite his attempt to kick the other player, he thankfully missed before being restrained by the match stewards.

Play was eventually resumed as Porto won the game 1-0 after Mehdi Taremi’s first half penalty. Vitoria meanwhile were reduced to 10 men after Oscar Estupinan was sent off with nine minutes left of the second half.
The win now means that Porto are sitting six points clear at the top of the Primera Liga, with just five games left of the season.
Fan reaction
Alarmingly, it seemed all too easy for the supporter to enter the pitch and fans were quick to notice on social media.
