This is extremely unsavoury
No-one should be surprised that Arsenal failed to turn up in a big game this weekend, or that they lost to Man City, even if Wembley is their ‘second home’. Nor that their fans reacted in true Arsenal fashion, by having a meltdown about the state of the club, questioning player’s commitment and calling for the manager to go.
The subsequent Arsenal Fan TV rants were quite something. But there is a video that has surfaced on social media which, even by the standards of Arsenal fans, leaves a sour taste.

Football is an emotional game, we have all said unsavoury things in the heat of the moment, but this makes for uncomfortable viewing. It’s easy to forget that footballers and managers are human beings who will be affected by outbursts like this.
We’re not 100% sure whether this is genuine, or whether the video has been doctored. The audio could be edited in for dramatic effect, or the person behind the camera could well have said that to Wenger.
If it is genuine, Wenger did very well to remain composed in a nasty situation.
It’s definitely time for him to leave Arsenal. He should have parted ways with the club at the end of last season if not before, but this sort of thing is uncalled for.
