Gabby Logan gives a young fan a night she will never forget
During the half-time break of the second semi-final between France and Germany on Wednesday night, BBC presenter Gabby Logan spoke to Tess about her video and the upcoming final, before surprising her with a moment she will never forget.
“Now on Sunday, the final is gonna be a pretty deal, right?” said Logan.
“I know you’d really love to be there watching it – I’m sure you’re gonna watch it on tele. How about being there in the stadium with us?”
Tess couldn’t believe what she was hearing at first and replied: “That would be great.” Little did she know it was about to get a whole lot better.
Logan then revealed the news. “I’ve got a couple of tickets from me and BBC and I would love you to come and bring somebody with you.”
Tess’ face said it all as she found out that she would be one of the lucky fans inside the ground to potentially see England lift the trophy.

Ian Wright gives emotional speech after Lionesses’ victory
After the win in Yorkshire, Ian Wright said that all the work Sarina Wiegman’s side had done would be in vein if schools don’t give women the chance to play football.
“Whatever happens in the final, if girls are not allowed to play football just like the boys can in their PE after this tournament, then what are we doing?” he said.
“We’ve got to make sure they are able to play and get the opportunity because this because this is going to inspire a lot of people.
“If there’s no legacy to all this, then what are we doing? This is as proud as I’ve ever felt of any England side. This is what it’s about.”
