The incident occurred outside the City Ground after the game
Sheffield United’s Jack Robinson had to be pulled away after he appeared to be involved in an altercation with a Nottingham Forest fan on Tuesday night.
Forest beat the Blades on penalties to reach the play-off final
The incident occurred outside the City Ground following United’s play-off semi final defeat, where they lost 3-2 on penalties to Forest after goalkeeper Brice Samba saved two spot kicks to take the hosts to within one game of reaching the Premier League for the first time since 1999.

Despite the end-to-end game, there were several moments when tensions got the better of people from both sides. Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom was shown a yellow card for pushing the ball into the chest of full back Djed Spence in the first half.
Nottinghamshire Police also confirmed that they had arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of assault after video footage showed United captain Billy Sharp being head-butted during the pitch invasion in the East Midlands.

Tensions escalated further outside the ground as well as Blades defender Robinson was involved in a heated exchange with a number of home supporters.
Robinson had made some interesting comments pre-match
Robinson, who played briefly for Forest between 2018-2020, had fuelled the fire before the tie in the East Midlands by claiming that the home fans turn on their players easily if things aren’t going well.
“I’ve played at the City Ground. Obviously I was there before Sheffield United, so I know that the crowd can get on you if you’re performing badly or you’re not at the races. We can only focus on ourselves and our performance. When we’ve performed we’ve beaten pretty much every team in this league,” he said.
In the video, the 28-year-old can be seen pushing away a Forest fan before he is pulled back by two other men back to the team bus.
