The fans in attendance for Saturday’s legends match between Liverpool and AC Milan were treated to some cracking goals
With all proceeds going to the LFC Foundation, Liverpool Legends welcomed Milan Glorie to Anfield and there was a host of superstars lining out.
Robbie Fowler opened the scoring for the hosts with a well-timed volley after finding some space in the AC Milan box on the 25-minute mark.

Djibril Cisse doubled Liverpool’s lead before Andrea Pirlo rolled back the years with a picture-perfect free-kick from range to bring Milan back into the game.
Guiseppe Pancaro followed in Pirlo’s footsteps and curled in a gorgeous equaliser but of course, Steven Gerrard popped up in front of the Kop End to fire home a late winner for the Reds.
There was to be no repeat of the dramatic 3-3 draw after 90 minutes like there was in Istanbul in the 2005 Champions League final as the charity match finished 3-2.
And while there was no shortage of entertainment value for the supporters in attendance, perhaps the best moment of the match came from Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek.
On his way to collect the ball behind his goal, Dudek stopped the game for a moment so that he could give a disabled fan an experience to remember.
