You can already tell that Jorginho is going to be very popular at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea beat Manchester City to Jorginho’s signature in the summer, securing a reunion with Maurizio Sarri in London, and the midfielder looks like a force to be reckoned with.
Sarri utilised Jorginho in a deep role for large portions of Saturday’s emphatic opening day victory over Huddersfield, which freed up N’Golo Kante to express himself further up the pitch.
Kante opened the scoring for the Blues before Jorginho found the net with one of the cheekiest penalties ever seen in the Premier League.
Before the game, Jorginho’s shinpads went viral when his new club’s official Twitter account posted pictures of the 26-year-old’s kit ahead of his first game in England.
We can expect plenty of adorableness from the Italy international in the coming months, not only because of the very good boy on his shinpads but also because of his relationship with his mother.
After Jorginho’s move to Chelsea was confirmed, the player’s mother was brought to tears in a clip that quickly went viral.
Goosebumps!

And his mum was back in England on Saturday to watch her son in action.
But rather than enjoy the comforts of the fancier seats at John Smith’s Stadium, which Jorginho could have easily sorted for her, Mama Jorginho gave it large with the travelling Chelsea support.
