The Liverpool manager wasn’t happy with the conduct of his players
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp criticised his own players for cheering a Chelsea sending off during their Premier League clash on Sunday.
Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen was sent off shortly before the break for bringing down Liverpool forward Sadio Mane.
Red or yellow?
Did the referee get it right with Andreas Christensen's dismissal?

Mane was through on goal, and Christensen’s foul was adjudged to have denied the Liverpool man a clear goalscoring opportunity.
Mane gave Liverpool the lead shortly after half-time, planting a brilliant header past Kepa Arrizabalaga after being teed up by Roberto Firmino. Mane doubled Liverpool’s lead just a few minutes later, which owed a lot to some shambolic goalkeeping from Arrizabalaga.
The Chelsea keeper was in possession of the ball in his own six-yard box under no pressure from Liverpool’s attack, but gifted the ball to Mane, who happily slotted home his second of the game.
Brilliant from Sadio Mane, but not one Kepa will want to see again 🙈
Liverpool are now in a commanding position against Chelsea.

After Christensen was dismissed, Liverpool players sat in the stands looked to be clapping and cheering the Dane’s sending off. This reportedly angered Klopp, who swiftly scolded those players responsible.
Klopp is reported to have said: “Are you crazy? We never ever do that, ok?”
Red card for Christensen. The Liverpool players in the stands clap and sort of celebrate. Klopp turns round from the touch line and shouts: “Are you crazy? We never ever do that, ok?”

Sunday’s afternoon clash was also the first time Liverpool fans got a chance to see new boy Thiago Alcantara in action. The Spanish international replaced Reds skipper Jordan Henderson at half-time.
Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea have already made moves to replace Arrizabalaga.
Edouard Mendy to Chelsea is 100% done and also signed. The announcement will be on next week. 🔵🤝 #CFC #Chelsea

A £22 million deal has reportedly been agreed with Rennes for goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
Mendy’s journey is remarkable. Just five years ago, he was unemployed and ready to quit football as he queued at a job centre in France.
The last goalkeeper Chelsea signed from Rennes went by the name of Petr Cech. If Mendy is half as good as his predecessor, Chelsea will have a safe pair of hands to rely on.
