Prime wind-up merchant.
Italy vice-captain Leonardo Bonucci has continued to wind up devastated England fans, as he told them to “eat more pasta” whilst him and his side did a victorious lap of honour after his side’s final victory.
In the immediate aftermath of Italy’s penalty shootout win against England, Bonucci screamed down the camera “It’s coming to Rome,” mocking the iconic “it’s coming home” slogan of the English football.

And he wasn’t done there either.
As him and the rest of the Italy side took a lap of honour around the Wembley pitch, the Juventus defender shouted: “More pasta! We need to eat more pasta!”
It was Bonucci’s scrappy goal from a corner that managed to take the final to extra time, as the Italians grew into the game.
Then, in the shootout, Bonucci stepped up and scored his penalty, along with Domenico Berardi and Federico Bernardeschi. Despite Jorginho and Belotti both seeing their penalties saved, Bukayo Saka’s miss for England sealed the win for the Azzurri.
After the game, the defender described beating England in the final as the “icing on the cake that makes us legends.”
He told Rai Sport: “A historic goal is a dream come true and the credit goes to the coach, the whole squad.
“When we got together in Sardinia, there was something different compared to the past.
“We slowly gained confidence, certainty, unity. This was the icing on the cake that makes us legends.”
