BEANS BEANS BEANS
Manchester United fans were ecstatic at their side’s beating of Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night and Jesse Lingard was all of them as he celebrated the dramatic win.
Marcus Rashford’s late spot-kick sent the Red Devils through to the quarter-finals on away goals and injured teammate Lingard watched on from home as one of the ten first-teamers ruled out of the clash.
In a video posted on social media captioned “beans beans beans”, Lingard filmed himself running around his house in glorious celebration at the comeback. He accompanied it with an all-in-caps tweet: “Love it lads, absolutely love it. Believe. United mentality. Gassed!”

The team spirit on show at Parc des Princes was quite something, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku embracing after the final whistle to put an end to rumours they were involved in an ongoing feud over penalty duties. With the Frenchman suspended for Wednesday’s game, Marcus Rashford took on the responsibility of the 94th minute spot-kick and duly buried it.
That goal rounded off a comeback began by Lukaku’s first-half brace, coming either side of Juan Bernat’s tap-in with the Spaniard also hitting the post late on as PSG pushed to avoid their third last-16 exit in a row.
