Football bromances are a wonderful thing.
We’ve had Eric Dier and Dele Alli, who effortlessly warmed the hearts of British football fans with their cuteness over the past few years, before cooling slightly in recent months.
Fret not though, because it would seem that there is a hot new football bromance on the block in the form of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Dejan Lovren.
The two unlikely bedfellows have seemingly grown closer and closer during the Egyptian superstar’s time at the club, and their relationship took another beautiful turn today as the pair exchanged messages on Instagram Stories, which showed them rather innocently calling each other out over coffee.
Casablanca it ain’t, but this relationship – one is a striker who scores lots of goals, the other is a defender who occasionally forgets his profession – is a lovely example of opposites attracting and proves that love for your teammate truly concurs all.
It’s not the first time the two have shown the sort of affection which will likely delight Liverpool fans, with the below posts being an illustration of just how much Lovren loves the former Liverpool man.
