They weren’t happy about the end result of the game against Tottenham.
I probably don’t need to tell you that Liverpool supporters were left fuming after their 2-2 draw with their North London opponents yesterday.
Spurs scored a last minute winner, after they were awarded a controversial late penalty when Erik Lamela was kicked by Virgil Van Dijk.
Referee Jon Moss and his linesmen were booed as they left the Anfield pitch and there were even conspiracies that the whole thing was an #InsideJob.
However, that wasn’t the first controversial penalty that Tottenham were awarded in the match.
Their first came in the 87th minute and although Harry Kane missed the opportunity, many Liverpool claimed he should have never been awarded the chance in the first place as he had dived.
And, after Mark Lawrenson and Jermaine Jenas failed to discuss the centre forward’s perceived simulation on Match of the Day 2, a lot of Scousers were making the same point on social media.
Just watched MOTD and no mention of Kane diving for the penalty, never mind if he was offside or not. By the time Karius got a touch on him he was almost horizontal.#LFC#cheat

If Suarez had gone down like Kane did today when he was with us they’d have being talking about it in parliament and all, Kane dive doesn’t even get a mention on MOTD, joke
