Liverpool fans rage at Jon Moss and his linesman after incredible final 10 minutes at Anfield

They're really, really not happy...

Caught your breath back yet?

Nope. Us neither.

Tottenham left Anfield with a point on Sunday after an absolutely incredible final 10 minutes.

With Liverpool leading from an early Mo Salah goal, substitute Victor Wanyama drew Spurs level with a stunning long-range effort.

Minutes later, Harry Kane was presented with the chance to put Mauricio Pochettino’s side ahead from a controversially-awarded penalty. Jon Moss’ linesman flagged for offside as the ball was played through to Kane in the penalty area, not realising Dejan Lovren had touched the ball – enough for him to stay onside. He was then brought down by Loris Karius, who immediately made up for his mistake by denying Kane from the spot.

As the game entered stoppage time, Mo Salah scored a brilliant second to seemingly win it for Liverpool.

However, just when it seemed the result was done and dusted, Spurs were given a second penalty. Erik Lamela was kicked by Virgil Van Dijk, and although Moss initially appeared to miss it, his linesman did not.

Up stepped Kane, who this time found the back of the net.

Despite later receiving the backing of former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher over the decisions made, Moss and his linesmen were booed as they left the Anfield pitch. Liverpool supporters on Twitter appeared to share a similar opinion of the officiating.
