He’s not going anywhere
It seemed as if it was only a matter of time before Liverpool announced Nabil Fekir as their third arrival of the summer, but the deal has fallen through at the final hurdle.
Personal terms had been agreed, but concerns were raised over Fekir’s fitness, given his history of knee injuries.
Lyon have since released a statement confirming that the transfer will not be going ahead.

Liverpool fans may well be gutted by the news, but it is an indication that Jürgen Klopp will not take gambles on players whose fitness he does not deem to be reliable.
Klopp demands a lot from his players physically and can’t afford to have players who could break down at any moment.
Liverpool have now turned their focus towards the much cheaper option of Xherdan Shaqiri.
