Ronaldo has been accused of smashing an Everton fan’s phone
Manchester United are investigating an incident involving Cristiano Ronaldo after the forward was accused of smashing a fan’s phone after their defeat to Everton.
Footage shows Ronaldo throwing an object to the floor
In footage posted on social media, Ronaldo appears to lower his right hand before an object, which appears to look like a phone, bounces up from the ground.
The video has since gone viral across social media and as per Sky Sports, United have said that they are aware of the incident and will launch an investigation into what happened.

It follows after yet another disappointing day on the pitch for Ralf Rangnick’s side as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Frank Lampard’s side on Saturday afternoon.
Lacklustre United lose further ground in Champions League race
Anthony Gordon’s first half goal – which took a deflection off Harry Maguire – was enough for the Toffees to claim all three points and move four points ahead of 18th placed Burnley, who play against Norwich City on Sunday.
The defeat leaves the Red Devils seventh in the table and although still possible, it seems unlikely that they will be playing Champions League football next season.
He's given his fair share of these the last few years. Can't argue with a word of this though https://t.co/8JnqxiVUCq

Goalkeeper David De Gea also provided a damning assessment of his side’s display and called their performance a “disgrace.”
“We knew before the game how difficult it is to come here even though they’re not in the best of form right now,” he said.
“They played with more desire. They played on Wednesday, they were tired, they were a bit nervous, you could feel it, and even with that we lose the game.
“It’s a disgrace from us to be honest.
“I don’t know what to say to be honest. We are not good enough, we’re not good enough, that’s for sure.
“It’s going to be very difficult to get top four.”
