Very classy indeed.
Manchester United have had some decidedly dodgy away/third kits over the years. Whilst the home kit has remained pretty standard, give or take some white and black trim, the change options have been a very mixed bag.
Who can forget the ‘invisible’ grey uniform that was to blame for losing to Southampton in 1996; or the deckchair blue and white third kit from around the same era. Even this year’s ‘silver’ third effort has come under criticism.
But it seems that next year’s away kit will be extremely classy, according to the ever reliable Footy Headlines. They have revealed that next year’s change outfit will be an extremely classy midnight shade of blue.
Not only that but the trim will be a delectable gold, giving the whole design a decidedly decadent feel. Renders of the kit are below. As you can see, the colourway makes for a very slick effect.
