It certainly suits him
Liverpool may be prepping for a Champions League final with Real Madrid in the coming weeks, but one soon-to-be-arriving player of theirs has already finished his season.
Naby Keita’s RB Leipzig career came to an end at the weekend, as the Red Bull-owned Bundesliga side finished a disappointing domestic campaign with a resounding 6-2 away win away to Hertha Berlin.
One player won’t be overly concerned about Leipzig’s prospects for next season however is Keita, who is due to join the Reds at the end of the season, having agreed a deal to swap Leipzig for Anfield last summer.
The Guinea international was given a warm send off by the club’s supporters, who clearly appreciate the stellar performances he has put in for them since joining from sister club RB Salzburg in 2016.
Thankfully for the Reds, it appears Keita is already feeling in the mood for the move after being pictured in a Liverpool scarf during his farewell to fans.

There is obvious goodwill between Keita, the club and its fans – despite his decision to depart – as evidenced by the 23-year-old’s official farewell ceremony after the match with Hertha.
During the farewell, Keita was handed a plaque and what appeared to be a large card with his name on it, as well as enjoying a moment with the club’s adoring fans and even shedding a little tear.
Looks like Liverpool have a good ‘un.
