Patrice Evra appears set for a return to English football, nearly four years after leaving Manchester United.
According to Paul Joyce, Northern Football Correspondent for The Times, the French full-back will join West Ham United on a free transfer, where he will be reunited with former United manager, David Moyes.

Evra has been a free agent since November, when he was released by Marseilles after attempting to kick a supporter before a Europa League game in Portugal. The defender was also fined €10,000 by Uefa for the incident.
Evra, now 36, had only joined Marseilles in the January of last year following a relatively successful spell with Juventus.
West Ham are currently three points above the relegation zone, and on Tuesday denied newspaper claims that they were already considering replacing Moyes at the end of the season – whether the club avoid the drop or not.
