Where to start?
With the actual news, I guess, which is that AS Roma have announced the signing of Ante Corić. He joins from Dinamo Zagreb for an initial fee of €6m. Corić has impressed in his native Croatia over the past four seasons and earned himself to the big leagues.
It’s a low-key signing, not one that will reach the front or back pages, but the way in which it was announced is getting quite a lot of attention, mostly just pure bemusement and confusion.
The English Twitter account for AS Roma has a history of being a bit odd. For instance, they inexplicably tweeted a #GrazieDamien message with a picture of Damien Delaney, the Irish defender who is leaving Crystal Palace this summer. No reason. No explanation. Just to mess with us. If their aim is to get people talking and to make them laugh, it’s working, but it’s still bizarre.

What relevance Barack Obama, Michael Jackson, Kim Jong-Un, Steve Jobs or the Beatles have to this transfer I have no idea. Literally none.
As the video narrates, it’s time to “take it back.” It seems they meant all the way back to the beginning of time.
It’s probably best not to question the madness of the content that the account puts out, but just enjoy it for what it is. As the summer transfer window goes on, you can expect to see a few more of these, and see clubs’ social media teams compete for the best announcement video of the window. Because that’s the real quiz.
