Super agent Mino Raiola at it again after revelation of client Justin Kluivert’s contract demands

These demands are extraordinary

Oh Mino, never change

There are few certainties in life. Death, taxes and the fact that Mino Raiola will get his clients the highest amount of possible money during contract negotiations.

The Italian “super agent” has a stable of players which includes Paul Pogba, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marco Verrati and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and he has never been shy about squeezing every extra penny out of clubs for them.

Raiola famously pocketed a tidy £41 million from the move taking Paul Pogba back to Manchester United, but recent demands revealed by Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur may just be Raiola’s most spectacular work to date.

According to Terreur, Raiola’s client Justin Kluivert (son of Netherlands legend Patrick and all-around good footballer) has responded to Ajax’s request to extend his contract by unveiling his list of demands.

In terms of salary it isn’t too demanding: £1.32 million a year being a fairly acceptable amount for a player of his age and promise. The other demands however are strange to say the least.

Kluivert appears to have demanded that Ajax provide 20 percent of any possible transfer fee to him, as well as an additional 20 percent to go to Raiola.

Bearing in mind that Kluivert is just 19 years old and already showing extraordinary promise, the likelihood of his prospective transfer fee being above £60 million is quite high, meaning the two could net quite a commission for simply existing and doing their jobs.

Say what you want about Raiola, but he knows how to get the most for his clients.
