Jorginho’s 94th minute winner from the spot proved to be a controversial one
Tempers flared at Stamford Bridge after the full-time whistle after players from both Chelsea and Leeds United had to be separated following a last-minute winner from the home side.
Jorginho scored twice from the penalty spot for Thomas Tuchel’s side after Leeds had opened the scoring thanks a spot-kick of their own, which was dispatched by Raphinha.
Mason Mount equalised for the hosts three minute before the break, as Jorginho then completed the turnaround as the Italian stroked the ball home from 12 yards following Raphinha’s foul on Antonio Rudiger.
Leeds substitute Joe Gelhardt then brought the away side level just seconds after coming on – slotting home a low-driven ball from Tyler Roberts.
It looked as if Leeds were going to hold on for a deserved point but in the last minute, referee Chris Kavanagh pointed to the spot for the third time after Mateusz Klich was adjudged to have brought down Rudiger.
Despite the protests of the away side, Kavanagh didn’t change his mind and Jorginho scored the winner to give Chelsea the three points.
Clearly angered by the decision, Leeds players let their feelings known and after the full-time whistle, tempers boiled over as Rudiger and Junior Firpo became embroiled in a heated altercation which saw several members of both sides come over.

Whilst Romelu Lukaku attempted to keep his teammate Rudiger out of trouble, Firpo was taken away by a member of the Leeds coaching staff in order to try and calm down affairs.
When asked about the decision which cost his side the three points, Marcelo Bielsa said: “Errors are part of the game, unless they are unjustified or impudent.
“I wouldn’t class either of those penalties as that.”
Bielsa's reaction: "We would have deserved a draw."
On the penalties/mistakes: "Errors are part of the game, unless they are unjustified or impudent. I wouldn't class either of those penalties as that."
