This Means More: Liverpool reveal retro, collared 2018/19 kit
Liverpool have kept it retro with the reveal of the New Balance home kit for the 2018-19 season, which retains its red pepper hue and features a a tipped two-button polo collar.
The shirt sits alongside the club’s “This Means More” campaign and is brushed with jacquard stripes on the front, which is a nod to the landmark architecture of the redeveloped Main Stand.
The goalkeeper kit, meanwhile, is a bold Viper Yellow colour, with black patterned sleeves matching the black embroidered logo and crest.
To commemorate the tragic events of Hillsborough, the 96 emblem, encased by the eternal flames, sits at the nape of the neck.
Liverpool have also introduced a new name and number style, exclusive to LFC Retail as an alternative to the Premier League lettering, and will be printed on shirts at the reduced price of £10 (previously £15 at full price).
The new kit will be available for pre-order in store and online from 9am Thursday 19th April, for guaranteed worldwide delivery on the launch day, 11th May, when it will also be available to purchase in-store and online.
The Reds will be surprising 30 fans who have ordered their 18/19 home shirt in the pre-order period. These fans will be picked at random and will receive their kit for free.
To mark the end of Liverpool FC’s 125th anniversary, the Club is also donating 125 shirts to local children from Anfield schools involved in LFC’s Red Neighbours Programme.
Fans pre-ordering an adult shirt, junior shirt, mini kit or baby kit will also receive a £10 Liverpool FC retail voucher to spend in-store and online between 11th May and 30th June 2018.
Supporters purchasing from LFC stores or the LFC website will receive a special certificate of authenticity with their purchase, as a thank you for their support.
