Tottenham are on their way to Wembley… not that means quite so much to them these days.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men eased to a quarter-final victory at Swansea on Saturday afternoon, establishing a 2-0 lead by half-time with goals from Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela.

Although the home side didn’t offer too much at the Liberty Stadium, things might have panned out differently were it not for one of their old boys.

Michel Vorm, who spent three years at Swansea before becoming Hugo Lloris’ understudy at Spurs, produced a brilliant double save in the early minutes of the second half.

Having first got palms to Martin Olsson, the Dutchman was able to fling himself back across goal in order to push away a close-range follow up header from Tammy Abraham. Here, have a look…

Not bad, eh? Almost as good as this from Roma’s Alisson the other week

Tottenham, who exited the Champions League at the hands of Juventus last week, will now hope to progress to the FA Cup final. Should they make it, they’ll have the opportunity to win their first piece of silverware in a decade.
