It’s a heartwarming moment
Liverpool capped off their league campaign this season with a 4-0 home win over Brighton, who had already secured their safety after beating Manchester United last Friday. Goals from Mo Salah and Dejan Lovren gave Liverpool a 2-0 lead, before Dominic Solanke and Andy Robertson joined in on the act, both scoring their first goals of the season.
Mo Salah won the golden boot, finishing the season on 32 goals, with 10 assists to boot. Harry Kane ran him close, reaching 30 goals with a brace today against Leicester, but couldn’t retain the award.
Salah was joined by his daughter, Makka, on the Anfield pitch for the post-match celebrations. After he had picked up his golden boot award, he enjoyed a kickabout with his daughter on the pitch.
The Anfield crowd were audible in their appreciation for the touching moment.

The ‘Egyptian King’ has enjoyed his most ever prolific season this term, and will hope to take it one step further by winning the Champions League in two weeks’ time.
He will then head to the World Cup, having led Egypt to qualification for the first time since the 1994 World Cup held in America. It’s safe to say, Mo Salah is living his best life right now.
