Mo Salah scored yet again for Liverpool on Wednesday night. Of course he did.
Having already chalked up 30 goals for the Reds this season, the Egyptian was on hand to double their lead over Porto in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.
Minutes after Sadio Mane had opened the scoring in the Estádio do Dragão, the ball fell to Salah after James Milner cracked a shot against the post from outside the box.
Having instinctively followed the shot on the off chance a rebound would fall his way, Salah initially struggled to control the ball as it arrived at his feet. After a relatively loose first touch, the former Chelsea forward had the presence of mind to flick the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper with his second, nudging the ball home after heading it into a shooting position.
By no means the most spectacular goal Salah has scored in Liverpool colours, but one that demonstrates that he’s not just quick when it comes to covering the yards.
